After Hours, University of Oregon - Co-Director

The original After Hours was a club for advertising students looking to network with other creatives and create fun spec work. After the pandemic, it needed new life and new leaders to start it up. My good friend Nick and I took the initiative and built upon the foundations set a few years prior to give ad students a place to connect again. Complete with a club rebrand, new social media, and a podcast!

The transition to college is never easy. Throw in a pandemic and some digital learning and students feel the weight of that stress tenfold. My job was to assist in this transition period and help students build  schedules and  get connected to campus.

Nontraditional Student Union, University of Oregon - Co-Director

September 2023 - June 2024 (Paid)

The Nontraditional Student Union focuses on offering a space for students who don’t fit the traditional four year,  ‘right-out-of-high-school’ college plan. I was recommended for the position by my coworkers at the Office of Academic Advising for my welcoming personality and ability to assist students in finding a place to belong.

Ad and PR in London, Study Abroad

June 2023 - July 2023

(To be read in a British accent) I got to spend a summer across the pond with a cohort of advertising and public relations students from the University of Oregon. I met some lovely chaps and became mates with a few proper blokes that I still am chummy with to this day. I got to see the inner workings of the tube and the ad industry as a whole. Perhaps I’ll find myself working abroad again one of these days.

Extra! Extra! Girl discovers the stresses and blessings of being an editor for the Journalistic Learning Initiative newsletter! Deadlines are just as stressful on the receiving end as they are on the submission end! How many reminders must she send out? Is she cut out for news publications? Ask her all about it!

Delta Zeta, Eugene, OR - President

I may never know the government’s secrets, but being the president of a nationally recognized sorority comes pretty close. Running an organization, setting and running meetings, handling conflicts, planning events, and being the contact between Nationals, the Panhellenic Council, and the house proved to me that I was stronger than I thought. The weight of responsibility needs to be built on a strong foundation, but we just called it sisterhood.
